Script control

Published script rules classify known sources. The installation script can hold matching optional scripts that have not started yet and release them after consent.

In practice

Load early

Place the consent script at the start of the page head, ahead of analytics and marketing code. A script that ran earlier cannot be undone by a later banner.

Keep control over exceptions

Review scanned script sources and approve the rules you need. For tags fired through Google Tag Manager, configure consent checks inside the container too.

Check before going live

Test a fresh visit and a rejected visit in your browser. Some server-set cookies and scripts that ran before installation need changes at their source.
