Why HopCookie

Consent that is easy to set up and easier to understand.

A visible choice for visitors. A practical workflow for the people who run the site.

The banner

Make the choice feel at home on your site.

Choose a layout, write the message in your own voice and preview it before publishing. Visitors can accept, reject or choose categories, then change their mind later.

The scan

Find the cookies your pages actually set.

Crawl linked pages and sitemaps, then compare cookies and scripts before a choice, after rejection and after acceptance. Review the findings before they become part of your public list.

Google Consent Mode

Send the right consent signals from the first visit.

The installation script sets denied defaults for optional Google signals and updates them when a visitor chooses. Your GTM tags still need their own consent checks.

Common questions

A few things to know before you start.

Read all questions
What is a consent management platform?

A CMP presents visitors with cookie choices, records those choices and uses them to control supported optional scripts and consent signals. The website owner still decides which services belong in each category.

Do I need a WordPress or Laravel plugin?

No. Add the site-specific JavaScript snippet to the document head. The same approach works with WordPress, Laravel and plain HTML.

Why must the script load before other tags?

The browser cannot undo a script that has already run or a request it has already sent. Early placement lets the consent script set defaults and hold matching optional scripts before they start.
